Design Strategy
My decades in advertising, identity, and futurism have reinforced the power of abstraction when it meets intuition. I love helping clients reframe their perspectives and stretch their imaginations through tailored exercises and design strategies. Every project is unique, but I generally follow a flow of research and wide-open exploration, followed by narrowing things down to a refined, finished product.
Let me help you tell your story.

Philosophy
I view mediums as languages and design as their structure. My work is about translating new, innovative ideas into a form that a wider audience can understand—and I’m not afraid to ask clients to stretch beyond their comfort zones to make that happen.
Innovation isn’t just a buzzword; it’s a mindset. I help teams find the "sweet spot" by balancing human needs, business viability, and technical feasibility. Using IDEO’s framework and divergent thinking exercises, I guide groups to make the creative leaps necessary for bold new ideas.
Beyond workshops and mentoring, I consult on communications strategy. I use a design lens to create the visual "artifacts"—like storyboards, concept art, and graphic narratives—needed to explain complex products. Whether it's breaking through a creative block or refining a brand, I help teams move from a rough concept to a human-centered, visual reality.
What Is Design Thinking?
Design thinking is a non-linear, iterative process that teams use to understand users, challenge assumptions, redefine problems & create innovative solutions to prototype and test. It is most useful to tackle ill-defined or unknown problems and involves five phases:
Empathize
Define
Ideate
Prototype
Test
